     Ada Sarah Young was born in October 1864 at New York. She was the daughter of William Stewart Young and Lydia Patterson. Ada Sarah Young married George B. Ives, son of Butler Ives and Harriet F. Wing, circa April 1879 at Franklin Co, New York.2 Ada Sarah Young married Arthur E. Downer on 6 June 1917 at Front Lke, St Lawrence Co, New York.3 Ada Sarah Young died on 20 January 1936 at Russell, St Lawrence Co, New York, at age 71; She left six children and her husband to mourn.4,5
     She appeared on the census of 1880 at Burke, Franklin Co, New York; Adda Ives, 16, and daughter, Bertie L., 2 mos, were living with her father and mother.2
