Sarah Longeway was born on 30 May 1825 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec. She was the daughter of Joseph Longeway and Deborah Covey. Sarah Longeway married Joseph Bodah on 18 October 1849 at Russeltown Methodist Church, Russelltown, Huntingdon Co, Quebec.1 Sarah Longeway died on 30 September 1882 at Nasonville, Wood Co, Wisconsin, at age 57; "Died - At Nasonville, Sept. 30, Mrs. Bodah, wife of Joseph Bodah. Mr. and Mrs. Bodah were among the first settlers of this country. Mrs. Bodah has long been afflicted with disease of the heart, and about two weeks ago, was confined to her bed. She leaves a large number of friends who will moun her loss."2
She and Joseph Bodah appeared on the census of 2 June 1880 at Lincoln, Wood Co, Wisconsin; The 1880 census shows that Joseph's mother, Angeline Bodah was aged 75 and living with he and his wife Sarah.3
