2 Thomas Prence came to New England in the "Fortune" in 1621. He was chosen to be Governor of Plymouth in 1635 and held that office for more than 16 years.

Plymouth Co, Massachusetts; Thomas left his beloved wifehousehold goods hers before they married, the best bed and furniture, along with the court cupboard standing in the new parlor with the cloth and cushion on it. Also, a horse and three cows, four spoons of her choice. He gave her the rents from and profits from his part of the mill at Satucket (now East Bridgewater) and the land adjoining.
The children were addressed individually as well.
