     Elisha Reynolds was born on 12 April 1826 at Fort Covington, Franklin Co, New York.1,2 He was the son of John Dickenson Reynolds and Catherine Carrigan. Elisha Reynolds married Samira Ashline in April 1859 at Isle La Motte, Grand Isle Co, Vermont; It was a 2nd marriage for Elisha Reynolds.3 Elisha Reynolds died on 2 November 1901 at Isle La Motte, Grand Isle Co, Vermont, at age 75.4 He was buried at North Cemetery, Isle La Motte, Grand Isle Co, Vermont.1
     He appeared on the census of 4 June 1880 at Isle La Motte, Grand Isle Co, Vermont; Elisher [sic] Reynolds, 52, wife Samira, 38, Elma, 17, Cassy, 15, Parmer, 12, Thomas, 11, Lotty, 8 and Addie, 6.5
