     Guy Ernest Longeway was born on 31 March 1889.1 He was the son of George Edward Longeway and Martha Maria Elizabeth Keet. Guy Ernest Longeway married Mary Letitia Davis on 7 October 1908 at Derby, Orleans Co, Vermont; Guy was aged 21, his first marriage and was employed as a clerk. His residence was given as Smith's Mills, Quebec.2 Guy Ernest Longeway died on 27 February 1951 at Coventry, Orleans Co, Vermont, at age 61.3
     He appeared on the census of 9 January 1920 at Derby, Orleans Co, Vermont; In 1919, the family still resided in Quebec, but by the 1920 census they were in Derby, Vermont. The census indicates they made the move in 1919.4
