Addie Sylvina Covey

     Addie Sylvina Covey was born circa 1865 at Leeds, Leeds Co, Ontario.¹ She was the daughter of James Fransburg Covey and Permelia Covey. Addie Sylvina Covey married Robert Weir on 27 January 1888 at Ontario.² Addie Sylvina Covey died on 11 August 1902 at Carleton PLace, Leeds Co, Ontario; " Mrs. Robert Weir, who had been ailing with a pulmonary affection for some months, died on Saturday. Mrs. Weir was formerly Miss Addie Covey of Gananoque, and was 38 years of age. The funeral took place yesterday (Monday) morning to the C. P. R. station for Gananoque, where interment took place. There is no family and the bereaved husband has the sympathy of numerous friends in his loss." -- Carleton Place Herald.³ She was buried at Willowbank Cemetery, Gananoque, Leeds Co, Ontario.⁴
     She lived in January 1888 at Lansdowne, Ontario.
