     Lydia Priest Covey was born on 30 March 1834 at Russelltown, Huntingdon Co, Quebec.1 She was the daughter of Elisha (Elijah) Covey and Sarah Priest. Lydia Priest Covey was baptized on 1 May 1839 at Franklin Centre Methodist Church, Franklin Centre, Huntingdon Co, Quebec, by Rev. B. Hitchcock.2 She died on 25 December 1901 at Franklin Co, New York, at age 67.3,4 She was buried at Constable Cemetery, Constable, Franklin Co, New York.3
     She appeared on the census of 1881 at Franklin Centre, Huntingdon Co, Quebec.5 On 22 Dec 1902, Lydia's sisters, Sarah Wilson and Susan Doane, files a petition in Surrogate Court wanting letterss of administration for Lydia's property, since she died intestate. They included their brothersm Aaron and Abraham.6
