Naomi Covey was born on 23 October 1852 at Hemmingford, Huntingdon Co, Quebec.1 She was the daughter of John Young Covey and Roxana Hunter. Naomi Covey was baptized on 1 May 1855 at Russelltown Methodist Church, Russelltown, Huntingdon Co, Quebec, by Rev. Richard Wilson.2 She married George Lavalley, son of John LaValley and Laura Mclelland, on 2 April 1888 at Mooers Forks, Clinton Co, New York; #67, record at Mooers Forks, reg. 5 April 1888; by F. P. Allen, JP.3 Naomi Covey died in 1912 at Michigan; of Havelock, Beauharnois Co, PQ in 1890.
