Joseph Covey was born circa 1752; Joseph and Theodosia lived in Acton and Chesterfield for years. Since the History of Chesterfield indicates that Samuel and Mary were living there when Joseph was, it can be guessed they were rlated in some way. Since Joseph's birth was about 1752, and Samuel Sr was about 1756, I am thinking they are brothers.^1,2 He married Theodosia Hooker circa 1772 at Vermont.
