Joseph Huckins was born on 21 February 1655 at Barnstable, Barnstable Co, Massachusetts. He was the son of Thomas Huckins and Rose ? (?) Joseph Huckins died on 9 November 1679 at age 24; drowned along with his father after their boat was lost during a storm.
