Frederick William Tallman was born on 26 January 1863 at Russelltown, Huntingdon Co, Quebec. He was the son of Gilbert Tallman and Emily J. Smith. Frederick William Tallman was baptized on 28 June 1863 at Franklin Centre Methodist Church [folio 15], Franklin Centre, Huntingdon Co, Quebec; by Rev. Alfred Andrews. He married Adeline Baker on 29 May 1882 at Humboldt Co, Iowa.1
