John Daniel Silsbee was born on 20 April 1846 at Bangor, Franklin Co, New York.1 He was the son of Samuel P. Silsbee and Sarah Patterson. John Daniel Silsbee married Sarah Conger on 27 October 1866 at Poughkeepsie, Dutchess Co, New York.
