     Clarence Elwin Salls was born on 22 July 1883 at North Troy, Orleans Co, Vermont.1 He was the son of Melvin Willard Salls and Elizabeth Kate Allen. Clarence Elwin Salls married Eugenia Dorothy Toussaint on 7 April 1907 at Sutton, Caledonia Co, Vermont.1,2 Clarence Elwin Salls married Blanche B. Wheeler on 4 September 1939 at Walden, Caledonia Co, Vermont.3 Clarence Elwin Salls died on 8 October 1978 at Lancaster, Coos Co, New Hampshire, at age 95; Clarence died in an auto accident.4,1 He was buried at Bailey-Hazen Cemetery, East Hardwick, Caledonia Co, Vermont.5
