     Hermon Vaughan was born on 16 June 1766 at New Fairfield, Fairfield Co, Connecticut. He was the son of Josephus Vaughan and Rebecca Towner. Hermon Vaughan died on 20 January 1857 at St Johns, Quebec, at age 90.1 He was buried on 23 January 1857 at Quebec.1
