     Stephen Bruce Derick was born on 24 February 1845 at Foucault, (now Missisquoi Co), Quebec.1 He was the son of Abraham "Abram" Derick and Lydia Flagg. Stephen Bruce Derick was baptized on 13 July 1845 at St George's Anglican Church, Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.2 He married Euretta Rosetta Colton, daughter of Henry Colton and Mehitable Derby, on 4 January 1870 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.3 Stephen Bruce Derick died on 6 November 1925 at Yakima, Yakima Co, Washington, at age 80.4
