Barbara Grimshaw was born on 7 March 1861.¹ She was the daughter of Zephaniah Grimshaw and Adeline Covey. Barbara Grimshaw married Peter Facteau circa 1878; The 1900 census indicates they had been married 22 years, had 11 children, 7 still living.² Barbara Grimshaw died in December 1913 at age 52.
