Simon Covey was born on 18 January 1829 at Triangle, Broome Co, New York.¹ He was the son of Hiram Covey and Aurelia Ann Clinton. Simon Covey married Lucinda Jane Hinkle on 14 May 1854. Simon Covey died on 24 January 1911 at Triangle, Mahaska Co, Iowa, at age 82.¹
