Margaret Miller

     Margaret Miller was born circa 1761.¹ She was the daughter of Henry Miller and Mary (?) Margaret Miller married Gabriel Manning circa 1770 at prob Dutchess Co, New York. Margaret Miller married Abraham Salls, son of Isaac Salls and Hannah Hawley, circa 1804; It had to have taken place before 1 Mar 1805.
     Alburgh town records show that an indenture was made on 1 March 1805 between Abraham and Margaret Salls of Caldwell's Manor and Henry Manning of Alburgh. Margaret Salls being "daughter of and sole heiress" of Henry Miller. It was recorded at Alburgh on 25 March 1805 [Vol 3, 1803-1818].
