Percy Albert Neal Salls

     Percy Albert Neal Salls was born on 1 July 1887 at Glines Corner, Graniteville, Beebe, Stanstead Co, Quebec.^1,2,3 He was the son of Napolean Nathan Salls and Olive Betsy Colvin. Percy Albert Neal Salls was baptized on 5 July 1896 at All Saints Church, Stanstead, Stanstead Co, Quebec.¹ He married Mary Elizabeth Turner on 30 May 1917 at Hartford, Hartford Co, Connecticut.³ Percy Albert Neal Salls died on 29 July 1941 at Newport, Orleans Co, Vermont, at age 54; Percy died at the home of his sister, Lucy Salls Cleland in Newport. The Salls Book indicates he passed in North Troy, but the newspaper obituary reads that he was with his brother in law John Cleland at the time. He was expressing how happy he was to be going back to work for the railroad, when his suddenly slumped over and never regained conciousness.^2,3 He was buried at Passumpsic Cemetery, Waterford, Caledonia Co, Vermont.⁴
