     James Kinsey Carter was born on 6 February 1859 at North Carolina.1,2 He was the son of Zenos Carter and Hepsey Cavanaugh. James Kinsey Carter died on 25 July 1940 at Richland, Onslow Co, North Carolina, at age 81.3 He was buried on 26 July 1940 at Family Cemetery, Haw Branch, Richlands, Onslow Co, North Carolina.3
