Caroline L. Daley was born circa 1869 at Saint John Co, New Brunswick. She was the daughter of Joseph Daley and Mary Hepburn. Caroline L. Daley married John Hickey, son of Lemuel Hickey and Elizabeth (?), on 18 May 1884 at Houlton, Aroostook Co, Maine; John Hickey was of Grafton [Carleton Co] and Caroline was of Portland [Saint John Co]. He was of Woodstock, Maine and she was of Saint John, New Brunswick.^1,2 Caroline L. Daley died on 15 December 1904 at Houlton, Aroostook Co, Maine; The cause of death was given as "hemorrhage due to detachment of the placenta before delivery" at age 37 years.³
