     Stephen Howard Thompson was born on 7 July 1834 at Cocaigne, Kent Co, New Brunswick.1 He was baptized on 8 July 1834 at St Martin's Angican, Shediac, Westmorland Co, New Brunswick.1 He was the son of George Thompson and Frances Susannah Howard.
