Jane Silliphant was born circa 1853.¹ She was the daughter of John Silliphant and Alice Goss. A bond for the marriage of Jane Silliphant and Richard Stanley was signed in 1875.² Jane Silliphant married Richard Stanley, son of Solomon Dyer Stanley and Martha Bennett Daley, on 27 September 1875 at Saint John, Saint John Co, New Brunswick.
