May Victoria Hepburn was born on 23 May 1902 at Saint John, Saint John Co, New Brunswick; The family was living on Lombard Street.1,2,3 She was the daughter of Rudolphus F. Hepburn and Mabel Hargrove. May Victoria Hepburn married Edwin Leroy Belyea on 2 July 1929 at South Gate, Los Angeles Co, California.2,3 May Victoria Hepburn died on 20 October 1991 at Los Angeles, Los Angeles Co, California, at age 89.4
She was naturalized on 6 August 1942 at Los Angeles, Los Angeles Co, California; May was residing with her husband at 1129 Rose Ave., Pasadena, California when she petitioned for naturalization. She indicated she had blue eyes and brown hair, age 40, was 5'7" and weighed 120 pounds.
She and her husbad both entered the US at Detroit, Michigan on 31 Aug 1926. They had no children.2 She lived in 1980 at Duarte, Los Angeles Co, California.3 A letter received from May Belyea dated 15 April 1981 indicates she always called Mary Daley "aunt", and she used to visit her at her son Henry's home on Westmoreland Street in Saint John. She remembered wheeling one of the Arrowsmith children around in a carriage. She also knew that a Cameron family was related, and in 1981 tried to contact them, but "Ethel" was in the hospital and she could not get any details.
