James Pease was born on 15 March 1637 at Martha's Vineyard, Dukes Co, Massachusetts.¹ He was the son of John Pease and Lucy (?) James Pease married Elizabeth Norton, daughter of Nicholas Norton and Elizabeth (?), before 1664. James Pease married Abigail Travis on 22 April 1706. James Pease died on 27 March 1719 at Martha's Vineyard, Dukes Co, Massachusetts, at age 82.
