     Joseph Somes was born circa 3 December 1654 at Gloucester, Essex Co, Massachusetts.1 He was the son of Morris Somes and Elizabeth Kendall. Joseph Somes died in December 1675; Joseph was killed in the fight with the Indians at Narraganset Fort.2
