     Emily Sarah Collins was born in April 1862 at Granby, Shefford Co, Quebec.1 She married Asahel H. Scott, son of John Scott Jr. and Sarah Young, on 9 August 1881 at Holyoke, Hampden Co, Massachusetts; Their marriage record indicates they were both residents of Holyoke. "Acil" was 22 years old and a carpenter, and Emily was 19.2,3 Emily Sarah Collins died on 15 April 1943 at Huntingdon, Huntingdon Co, Quebec;
     Emily passed away at her home on Chateauguay Street, following a painful illness of some weeks.
     She was survived by two sons, Albert, of Newtonville, MA and Henry of Albany, as well as Mildred, who lived at home. Her husband had died seven years earlier, along with two sons and three other daughters.4
