Robert Thompson was born on 10 November 1855 at Chance Harbour, Saint John Co, New Brunswick. He was the son of Robert Thompson and Mabel Belding. Robert Thompson married Elizabeth Ann Janes in 1878.¹ Robert Thompson died on 26 August 1934 at Saint John Co, New Brunswick, at age 78.²
