John R. Scott

     John R. Scott was born on 26 September 1886 at New York.¹ He was the son of Myron Gilbert Scott and Mary Ann Vincent. John R. Scott married Leona Bullett, daughter of Theodore Bullett and Delia Duskey, on 24 March 1907 at Holland, Orleans Co, Vermont; The marriage was performed by F.B. Blodgett, clergy for the Methodist Episcopal church in Holland.² John R. Scott married Marion Simpson on 21 June 1925 at White River Junc, Windsor Co, Vermont. John R. Scott died on 13 April 1935 at Wentworth, Grafton Co, New Hampshire, at age 48; John had been a laborer, but had been suffering from bronchial pneumonia. He had fractured ribs which had punctured a lung, when accidentally a wagon had run over his chest.¹
