     Count Baldwin I of Flanders was born circa 837. He married Princess Judith of Franks, daughter of Charles II "the Bald" King of West Franks and Ermentrude, on 13 December 863 at Auxerre, Yonne, Bourgogne, France. Count Baldwin I of Flanders died in 879.1 He was buried at Abbey of Saint-Bertin.1
