Frances Amelia Derick was born on 16 May 1845 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1 She was the daughter of Alonzo Derick and Elizabeth Cannon. Frances Amelia Derick was baptized on 27 March 1848 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.2 She married Stephen Alonzo Salls, son of Isaac Salls and Rachel Spear, on 22 March 1862 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.3 Frances Amelia Derick died on 19 December 1913 at Beebe, Stanstead Co, Quebec, at age 68.4
She witnessed the marriage of Adam J. Taylor and Harriet Pamelia Salls on 12 April 1871 at Georgeville Methodist Church, Georgeville, Stanstead Co, Quebec; Amelia and Adam were both of Magog when they married.5
