Letitia Nisbet

     Letitia Nisbet was born on 16 September 1851 at Bayswater, Kings Co, New Brunswick.^1,2 She was the daughter of Oliver Nisbet and Mary Stewart. Letitia Nisbet has also be reported to have been born September 1852.³ She married John Galbraith on 29 December 1874.⁴ Letitia Nisbet died on 20 March 1939 at St John General Hospital, Lorneville, Saint John Co, New Brunswick, at age 87; The paper mentions she is widow of John Galbraith. The funeral would be held "at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Allan MacInnis, 30 Peters Street on Thursday at 2:30 PM. Body will be held in the vault in Cedar Hill Cemetery and internment at a later date in Lorneville". The obit lists children as Mrs. Allan MacInnis and Mrs. Robert Baird both of Saint John, Mrs. George Fuller of Oshawa [Ontario] and son William Henry Galbraith of Lorneville.^5,2 She was buried at Lorneville Cemetery, Saint John Co, New Brunswick.
