     Alfred Sharpe was born on 17 November 1807 at Iredell Co, North Carolina. He was the son of James McCoy Sharpe and Elizabeth Black. Alfred Sharpe married Mahala James, daughter of Thomas James and Rachel Allen, on 17 October 1826 at Iredell Co, North Carolina. Alfred Sharpe married Catherine Brack on 24 February 1852 at Iredell Co, North Carolina.1 Alfred Sharpe married Mary Cheshire after December 1852. Alfred Sharpe died on 30 May 1876 at Iredell Co, North Carolina, at age 68.2 He was buried at Sharpe Graveyard, Iredell Co, North Carolina.2 His estate was probated on 5 June 1876 at Iredell Co, North Carolina.3
     He left a will on 16 May 1876 at Iredell Co, North Carolina.3
