Nancy Welch was born on 25 July 1819 at Missisquoi Co, Quebec. She was the daughter of Archelaus Welch and Martha Eldredge. Nancy Welch married Freeman Scott, son of John Scott and Mary Buck, on 8 January 1842 at Dunham, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.¹ Nancy Welch was baptized on 3 March 1844 at St Armand, Missisquoi Co, Quebec; St Armand Methodist Church. She died on 19 February 1905 at age 85.
