     Elizabeth Danford was born in 1785. She was the daughter of Samuel Danford and Mary (?) Elizabeth Danford married Daniel Salls, son of Abraham Salls and Thankful (?), at Quebec; The date has not been located as yet, but it is certain the wife of Daniel Salls was Elizabeth Danford. There are several notarial records filed by Leon Dugas that all say "Elizabeth Danford, widow of Daniel Salls" within.1 Elizabeth Danford died on 25 December 1857 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.2 She was buried on 27 December 1857 at St George's Anglican Cemetery, Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.
     The 1851 census for Sutton, Missisquoi County, Quebec lists "Betsy Salls", widow, living with Amable LaFleur and children after his wife's death.
