     Eliza Susan Arrowsmith was born on 19 June 1861 at Bethnal Green, Middlesex, England.2,1 She was the daughter of Thomas Arrowsmith and Sarah Thwaites. Eliza Susan Arrowsmith was baptized on 17 July 1861 at Bethnal Green Congreational, Bethnal Green, Middlesex, England.2 She married William Melvin Cosman, son of George Cosman and Ann Hepburn, on 25 November 1885 at Chelsea, Suffolk Co, Massachusetts.3,1 Eliza Susan Arrowsmith died on 1 December 1942 at Wallingford, New Haven Co, Connecticut, at age 81.4
     She and William Melvin Cosman appeared on the census of 9 April 1940 at Wallingford, New Haven Co, Connecticut; William and Eliza were 80 and 79, respectively, and were living with their daughter Anna Fournier and her family.5
