     Rebecca Salls was born circa 1801 at Quebec.1 She was the daughter of John Salls and Sarah Crawford. Rebecca Salls married Daniel Curtis, son of Solomon Curtis and Hannah Taylor, on 13 August 1821 at St George's Anglican Church, Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec; Witnesses were his father, Solomon Curtis and her mother, Sarah Salls, aong with Benjamin Salls. I assume Benjamin Ernest Salls stood in as uncle, since her father was deceased.2 Rebecca Salls died on 22 September 1864 at Stockholm, St Lawrence Co, New York; Gravestone indicated she was 64 years.1 She was buried at Brookdale Cemetery, Lot 192, Section C, Row 8, Stockholm, St Lawrence Co, New York.1
     At Brookdale Cemetery there are supposedly three small gravestones which are broken and unreadable, but are supposedly the children of Daniel Curtis and Rebecca Salls.3
