     George W. Salls was born on 4 August 1854 at Brome, Brome Co, Quebec.1,2,3 He was the son of Abraham Salls Jr and Melinda McCoy. George W. Salls married Emma Flanders on 27 June 1883 at Barton, Orleans Co, Vermont.2 George W. Salls married Lizzie Helen White on 6 November 1901 at Newbury, Orange Co, Vermont; This was 2nd marriage for George. He was 48 years old, and a resident of Newbury.4 George W. Salls died on 31 July 1932 at Vermont at age 77.1,3
     He witnessed the marriage of William Egglefield and Phebe Salls on 25 July 1871 at Sutton, Brome Co, Quebec; William and Phebe were both residents of Brome, Brome County, and he was a widower.5 George W. Salls appeared on the census of 1881 at Bolton East, Brome Co, Quebec; George was aged 30, living with his sister, Phebe, and her husband, William Egglesfield.3
