Lucy Parish was born on 9 June 1757. She married Daniel Wood, son of Nehemiah Wood and Elizabeth Hovey, on 29 March 1783 at Falmouth, Hants Co, Nova Scotia. Lucy Parish died circa 1825 at Cornwallis, Kings Co, Nova Scotia. Her estate was probated on 11 July 1825 at Cornwallis, Kings Co, Nova Scotia; Her two son's in law were of Wilmot, Annapolis County, Nova Scotia.1
She left a will on 15 October 1822 at Kings Co, Nova Scotia; Lucy Wood, relict of Daniel Wood, mentions her beloved grandson, Daniel Wood, when he becomes of age he would receive Lucy's desk, as well as her daughters, Abigail, the wife of Isaac Hiram North of Wilmot, Sarah, the wife of Stephen Taylor of Wilmot, Elizabeth, wife of Stephen Borden of Cornwallis, and Olive? and Lucy, spinsters of Cornwallis. She appointed her beloved sons-in-law, Isaac Hiram North and Stephen Taylor as executors.1
