Ptolemy Lombard Jr was born circa 1818 at New Brunswick; Ptolemy Lombard, 63, Wesleyan Methodist, farmer, Wesley, 65; Ada I., 21, William, 17 and William J. Church, 12 in 1881.1 He was the son of Ptolemy Lombard and Patience Hammond. Ptolemy Lombard Jr married Kate Biden on 7 October 1848 at Saint John, Saint John Co, New Brunswick; Ptolemy Jr. was of Saint John and Kate was of Stanley [York Co]. They were married by Rev. Henry Daniel Saturday evening.2 Ptolemy Lombard Jr was buried in 1888 at Pine Grove Cemetery, Corn Hill, Kings Co, New Brunswick.3 He died in 1888 at Anagance Ridge, Kings Co, New Brunswick.4
He appeared on the census of 1881 at Havelock, Kings Co, New Brunswick; Ptolemy's wife Kate was not listed with him in 1881. It appears that an older brother, Wesley, was living with him.1
