     Mary Marinda Wood was born on 6 May 1834 at River Phillip, Cumberland Co, Nova Scotia.1 She was the daughter of Nelson Wood and Sarah A. Wood.1 Mary Marinda Wood married Virgil Buckingham on 11 June 1865 at Connecticut.2 Mary Marinda Wood was buried at Pinesbridge Cemetery, Beacon Falls, New Haven Co, Connecticut.2 She died on 19 October 1899 at Seymour, New Haven Co, Connecticut, at age 65.2
