John Norman Howard married Annette Strong. John Norman Howard was born in 1855 at Canada. He was the son of James Kerr Howard and Harriet Ratcliffe. John Norman Howard was buried at Masonic Cemetery, Elma, Grays Harbor Co, WAshington.1 He died on 16 May 1937 at Three Forks, Clallam Co, Washington; John Howard, 81, was drowned Sunday night when he fell into a well at the ranch home of I. Berrey, in the Madison valley near here.
Fire broke out in th eranch home while Howard was a lone, and he is believed to have fallen into the well when he attempted to get water to fight the flames...
The fire destroyed the Berrey home. Howard had made his home with them for about a year. He was an uncle of Mrs. Berrey. Other survivors include a brother, Richard Howard, of Three Forks, and a niece, Mrs. David Houston, of White Sulphur Springs.2,3,1
