Abigail Hammond was born circa 1775 at Maine.1 She was the daughter of Zebedee Hammond and Martha Bennett. Abigail Hammond married Joseph Daley, son of David Daley and Mehitable Webber, on 15 December 1793 at St Andrews Anglican Church, St Andrews, Charlotte Co, New Brunswick; The existing handwritten page is damaged on the left side so it does not have his first name, but it definitely lists "Dailey and Abigail Hammond".2,3 Abigail Hammond died after 1851 at Mispec, Saint John Co, New Brunswick.1
She appeared on the census of 1851 at Simonds Parish, Saint John Co, New Brunswick; Abigail Dealey, 76, b. US, mother-in-law, came to the colony in 1783 as a Loyalist, and was living with Solomon Stanley, widower, along with his children, as well as Sarah Dealey, 39, a native, and David Dealey, 9 and William, 7. The next enumerated household was belonging to Elisha Stanley.1
