     Elizabeth Anna Salls was born on 27 March 1870 at Fort Covington, Franklin Co, New York. She was the daughter of Merritt Alonzo Salls and Lydia Maria Young. Elizabeth Anna Salls married Harry B. Amsden, son of Leroy C. Amsden and Jean Scott Forrester, on 14 October 1889 at Clinton, Worcester Co, Massachusetts.1,2 Elizabeth Anna Salls married Charles Augustus Jackson on 17 October 1927 at Nashua, Hillsborough Co, New Hampshire; Charles Jackson was 48, and a merchant of New Smyrna, Florida. He had previously been divorced, while Elizabeth had been widowed. She was then 54, residing in Laconia and a hotel proprietress. They were married by Rev. Rodney W. Roundy of Laconia.3 Elizabeth Anna Salls died on 31 December 1936 at Lakeland, Polk Co, Florida, at age 66.4,5 She was buried in 1937 at Bayside Cemetery, Laconia, Belknap Co, New Hampshire.6
