Daniel Frost was born on 10 May 1752.1 He married Hannah Smith, daughter of Moses Smith and Lydia Smith, on 30 September 1779 at Barre, Worcester Co, Massachusetts; At the time of his marriage Daniel Frost was "of Rutland".2,3 Daniel Frost died on 21 April 1833 at Vermont at age 80.4 He was buried at Westlook Cemetery, Glover, Orleans Co, Vermont.4
According to the Frost Family history, Daniel removed to Brattleboro, Vermont.1 Daniel Frost is recorded in pension records for Vermont as: County: Orleans Co. Name: Daniel Frost. Rank: Private Annual Allowance: 30 00. Sums Received: 63 09. Description of service: Massachusetts continental line. When placed on the pension roll: June 3, 1833. Commencement of pension: March 4, 1831. Age: 79.5
