     Edward Lewis was born circa 1634 at Kent Co, England. He was the son of George Lewis and Mary Doggett. Edward Lewis was baptized on 25 May 1634 at Staplehurst, Kent Co, England.1 He married Hannah Cobb, daughter of Henry Cobb and Patience Hurst, on 9 May 1661 at Barnstable Co, Massachusetts.2,3 Edward Lewis died on 29 March 1703 at Barnstable, Barnstable Co, Massachusetts.4 His estate was probated on 6 April 1703 at Barnstable, Barnstable Co, Massachusetts.5,4
     He left a will on 22 February 1702/3 at Barnstable Co, Massachusetts.4
