Shubael Lewis was born after 1673 at Barnstable, Barnstable Co, Massachusetts. He was the son of Edward Lewis and Hannah Cobb. Shubael Lewis married Mercy Lumbard, daughter of Joshua Lumbard, on 8 December 1703. Shubael Lewis died on 24 August 1766 at Stafford, Tolland Co, Connecticut.
