     Frederick Uriah Derick was born on 30 April 1833 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1 He was the son of Frederick Derick and Sarah Griggs. Frederick Uriah Derick was baptized on 3 June 1833 at Caldwell's Manor Anglican, Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1 He married Edna Jane Colton, daughter of Daniel Colton and Hannah Curtis, on 2 January 1861 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.2 Frederick Uriah Derick died on 8 July 1903 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec, at age 70.3 He was buried on 10 July 1903 at Union Cemetery, Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.3
