     George James Covey was born on 21 June 1863 at Quebec.1 He was the son of John Young Covey and Roxana Hunter. George James Covey married Elmira Covey, daughter of Stephen Covey and Eliza Jane Partlow. George James Covey was baptized on 19 August 1880 at Franklin Centre Methodist Church, Franklin Centre, Huntingdon Co, Quebec, by Rev. Silas J. Hughes.2 He died on 14 December 1908 at Mooers Forks, Clinton Co, New York, at age 45; Cause of death was listed as anasarca(?).3 He was buried on 16 December 1908 at Ellenburg, Clinton Co, New York; Indicated on death record.3
     George James Covey also went by the name of James.
