     Lucy Cornelia Wait was born on 6 October 1872 at Waterville, Compton Co, Quebec.2 She was the daughter of Abraham Wait and Harriet N. Brown. Lucy Cornelia Wait was baptized in January 1873 at St John's Church, Waterville, Compton Co, Quebec; The baptism was recorded in the Hatley Anglican records.2 She married Stewart Edward Gilroy on 25 November 1897 at Toronto, York Co, Ontario; Both bride and groom were residents of Smith's Falls.3
